Mr Balloon Maker

Mr Balloon Maker, I met you on the High Street today: you looked so jolly with your balloon hat, and you brought out the child in me.  You made a sword for your friend dressed in a giant squirrel outfit, and you showed me your portfolio containing some really intricate balloon creations.  I liked the red devil instantly; and when I walked past Starbucks with this funny creature, everybody was staring at me!  It made my companion cringe with embarrassment.  Tell me, did I really miss a childhood that perhaps I never had?

River Thames at Runnymede

On a beautiful, warm Saturday evening, the River Thames at Runnymede was both atmospheric and inviting.  It was a perfect early summer evening for lovers to stroll along the river bank and for families and children to enjoy themselves.
