Life in Deep Freeze

Temperature here in Kansas continues to stay below freezing.  It's minus 14 degrees Celsius as I write.  From the hotel window, I can see very fine particles of snow dancing and swirling in the wind.

All the roads and most of the sidewalks are cleared, which allows life to carry on as normal.  Contrast this with UK, Kansas definitely has a more robust approach to adverse weather condition and its aftermath.

The snow is still lying and some of the shrubs are still laden with it.  It's a pretty picture.
