I have seen a few aquariums: at Monte Carlo, Vancouver, Barcelona, and San Diego. The Kaiyukan Aquarium at Osaka is my favourite so far. It is one the largest public aquariums in the world but I will spare you of the statistics. Check out the Kaiyukan web site http://www.kaiyukan.com/language/eng/
You take an elevator to the 8th floor, starting with the Japanese forests, and you work your way down. It was a truly memorable trip. It was a challenge too photographing moving objects in the darkness of an aquarium.
This is my favourite - the vibrancy of the colours and the poetry of the motion.
