These flowers and foliage were all taken in their natural habitat as we traversed Kyoto, Nara, Kurashiki, Matsue, Okayama, Yasugi, and Osaka in December 2009.

- Hi, welcome to my mini travelogue. I love photography - it's my way of seeing the world, and it's a way of recording a snapshot which, if stored in human memory, will decay in time. I alternate between my Canon G10 and Lumix DMC-TZ7, but often I rely on my handy Sony Ericsson mobile phone.
