Castle Combe, Wiltshire

Castle Combe, one of the prettiest villages south of the M4 motorway, is justly famous for the picturesque homogeneity of is ancient houses, built of Cotswold stone and bedecked with flowers. With the river bubbling through the centre, Castle Coombe is now a conservation area, with double yellow lines througout the village, allowing passing vehicular traffic only.
