Passing Seasons

The seasons pass so quickly since my return from Kansas in April.  So much water has passed under the bridge.  Time to pause and take stock of the beauty of nature in the garden, and reflect on the signposts of a pivotal summer.

The acer in the garden has recovered and has been resplendent in its crimson leaves.  The hot summer has singed some of the leaves, leaving little curled up balls of shrivelled, brittle leaves.
